Privacy Policy

Hexpair is an account-free app. Your puzzle progress, best times, and daily challenge results are stored on your device. If iCloud is enabled, your progress syncs through Apple's servers.

We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, precise location, or contacts. No account is required to use Hexpair.

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Links to the privacy policies of third-party service providers used by the app:

Hexpair uses Mixpanel to understand how the app is used, for example which levels players finish or give up on, how long puzzles take, and whether onboarding is completed. Events are tied to a random identifier generated when the app is installed. They are not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, or Game Center account, and we do not use them for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Mixpanel receives basic device information with each event (device model, operating system version, app version, screen size) and derives an approximate location (city and country) from your IP address. We do not collect precise location and the app never asks for location permission.

Each day the app downloads the day's puzzles from a server operated by Inncoder AS. The request carries no personal data and no account. As with any internet request, the server may record your IP address in standard access logs. The puzzles are then stored on your device.

If you are signed in to Game Center, your daily challenge solve times are submitted to Apple Game Center leaderboards under your Game Center nickname. Leaderboards are operated by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can play Hexpair without signing in to Game Center.

Hexpair offers an optional one-time Pro purchase through the Apple App Store. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and purchase receipt data. No payment details are visible to Inncoder AS.

Hexpair uses Apple iCloud key-value storage to sync your ladder progress across your devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Inncoder AS does not have access to your iCloud data.

Your data may also be included in iCloud Backup unless you have disabled it in your device settings.

Whenever you use our Service, in the case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your device called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Note that IP addresses collected by third-party analytics services (such as Mixpanel) may be used to derive approximate geographic location.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals for the following reasons: to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Hexpair uses the following services:

• Apple — App Store, Game Center, system services, and iCloud
• Mixpanel — Analytics
• RevenueCat — Purchase validation and entitlements
• Supabase — Hosting for daily challenge delivery

We do not use advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking services.

Hexpair does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. No account or personal details are required to play.

Your progress is protected by your device's built-in security and, where applicable, Apple's iCloud encryption. All connections from the app to our servers and third-party services are encrypted (HTTPS).

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
